Soft drinks brand Hip Pop has launched two of its naturally refreshing beverages front of store (FOS) in Sainsbury’s Local, now available as part of the Meal Deal.

From today, consumers can purchase Hip Pop’s award-winning Tropical Peach drink from 290 stores and the Apple & Elderflower Kombucha from 343 stores across the UK.

Both drinks are packed with probiotic live cultures that are scientifically proven to support gut health, with the Tropical Peach drink also containing apple cider vinegar and a quarter of your daily fibre per can, making them a delicious, better-for-you alternative to traditional fizzy pop.

With the Sainsbury’s Meal Deal priced at £3.75, customers can now enjoy a can of Hip Pop – usually priced at £1.95 – as part of their lunch, offering an excellent opportunity to try refreshing and healthy drinks for less.

Emma Thackray, co-founder of Hip Pop, commented: “At Hip Pop, we craft refreshing, crowd-pleasing drinks made with real fruit and live cultures. Our entire range is 100% natural, low in calories and free from artificial sweeteners – a perfect blend of delicious and health-conscious.

“After a stellar 2024, we’re thrilled to kick off this year with our first-ever entry into the iconic British Meal Deal! Partnering with one of the UK’s biggest supermarkets is a true testament to the quality of our products. We can’t wait for more people to enjoy our drinks as part of this beloved tradition.”

Since it was founded in 2019, Hip Pop has experienced impressive success, having tripled in growth between 2023 and 2024. Named as the fastest growing carbonated soft drinks brand in the UK in 2024*, Hip Pop has big plans in place for the coming weeks and months.
