From blank wooden crates and ceramic baubles to stockings and crackers, crafters across the UK are bulk buying blank items from Hobbycraft, decorating at home, and then selling onto their own customers via Etsy, Christmas markets, Facebook and so on, all whilst saving money in the process and helping crafters make a profit too.

With bulk-buying on the rise, Hobbycraft, the UK’s leading arts and crafters retailer is helping crafters save money by introducing large bulk pack bundles for the Christmas period. A few of the products include a 72 pack bundle of wooden crates, and ceramic baubles, as well as an 100 pack of cotton shopping bags, 10 pack of linen stockings, 5 pack mache hanging decorations, and much more.

Crafters bulk buy the blanks from Hobbycraft, decorate at home, and then sell onto their own customers via Etsy, markets, Facebook and so on. The bundles save the crafter money in the process and help them make a profit too.

There are so many wonderful ways to transform blank products into purchasable items. You can decorate with a letter and some festive motifs using Posca pens or through the art of calligraphy. Alternatively, they can be painted with hundreds of different designs.

Hobbycraft supports UK crafters to grow their small businesses through great value products, expert advice and via its subscription service Hobbycraft Plus. The subscription provides customers with 15% off every time they shop, FREE next day delivery for orders over £25, and three FREE seminars per year to help people grow your business. T&C’s apply – read here.

Katherine Paterson, Hobbycraft’s customer director, says: “We absolutely love seeing the creativity of our make-to-sell customers and are constantly in awe of those who turn their skills into small craft businesses. That’s why we created Hobbycraft Plus – a subscription service that supports makers to grow their business. We expect our ceramic and fillable baubles to be really popular again this Christmas with people making to sell and can’t wait to see their creations!”
