Inigo launches a dual-serve bottle for modern hosting

Inigo Inigo, a new British cocktail brand, launches with a collection of bottled cocktails created for the realities of modern hosting: different drinking preferences, but the same expectation of a considered drink.

At the heart of the format is a simple belief: the non-alcoholic serve should not be the compromise, it should be the starting point. Each of Inigo’s three cocktails work as a fully realised, standalone non-alcoholic drink, but the brand’s defining mechanic, Stick + Twist, means every bottle can also serve as the base for a premium spirit, giving the same bottle two drinking experiences.

Inigo has not been built around what is missing from the glass, but around what belongs in it: flavour, texture, length, tension and the small sense of theatre that makes a drink feel worth pausing for.

Created by Britain’s Best Home Bartender winner Jon Travers-Smith, Inigo launches with three distinct flavour worlds:

  • The Earl Grey Martini is silky with bergamot floral notes lifting lemon and juniper into a long dry finish from tea tannins.

  • The Korean Paloma is for the explorer palate, as grapefruit and lime cut through gochujang heat, lapsang souchong smoke and miso umami in a drink built as much for food pairing as for the glass itself.

  • The Bitter Riot is slow, contemplative and bitter-forward, with tropical notes, fresh ginger and aromatic spices that demand you take your time with it.

Developed with a specific spirit pairing in mind, the Earl Grey Martini twists with gin, the Korean Paloma with tequila and the Bitter Riot with grain vodka. Yet each was designed to stand entirely on its own, with the spirit acting as an optional addition rather than the foundation.

“People’s relationship with alcohol has become more nuanced, but the occasion itself has not become any less important,” says Jon Travers-Smith, Inigo’s founder. “We wanted to create a drink with the same depth, structure and sense of intent you would expect from a great cocktail, whether or not a spirit is added. With Stick + Twist, the non-alcoholic serve is not the compromise. It is the foundation. The twist is simply the drinker’s choice.”

Inigo is positioned as a truly modern drinks brand designed for the realities of contemporary hosting.

Inigo is available now at inigococktails.com with an RRP of £26 per 500ml.

The cocktail bottles can also be found at Lume Italian restaurant.
