Get the kids around the table for a family mealtime for real life as Gousto has just launched its new Bluey’s Family Dinner range, aimed at connecting kids and parents in the kitchen across the UK. Bluey’s Family Dinner range is available to order nationwide starting this month. All recipes from Bluey’s Family Dinner range will be available for everyone to order from 19th March.
Inspired by the stories and adventures of the world-famous animated TV series Bluey, which is co-commissioned by ABC Australia with BBC Studios and produced by Ludo Studio, Gousto’s brand-new recipe range of easy-to-make, family-style meals will delight everyone. Dishes range from Bluey’s favourite melty, tomatoey pizza girls margherita to Bingo and Bandit’s epic, aromatic king prawn curry. Additionally, all the artwork on Bluey’s Family Dinner range recipe cards have been created by Ludo Studio artists especially for Gousto.
Recipes from the Range include:
- Golden Crown Chicken Curry With Crunchy Chilli Oil: Tuck into a takeaway Bluey-style with this aromatic chicken curry, packed with carrot and yellow pepper. Just like Bandit who loves some extra spice, finish with a drizzle of crunchy chilli oil and serve over rice. Perfect.
- Bandit’s Pork Spring Roll Wraps With Sweet Chilli Sauce: Can’t forget the spring rolls. Make Bandit’s dreams come true with crispy pork, soy and carrot-stuffed tortilla rolls. Plate up with stir-fried greens and drizzle over sweet chilli sauce with extra fresh chilli for the adults.
- BBQ Chicken With Crispy Potatoes And Pepper & Corn Salad: Bring on the BBQ. Chicken will be coated in a sticky tomato paste, Henderson’s relish and smoked paprika sauce before pan-frying. Finish with crispy potatoes and corn salad on the side with smoky butter and spring onions for the grown-ups. At the end of a busy day sit down with the family and enjoy the yummy food just the way it’s supposed to be.
- Cheesy Magic Asparagus With Creamy Tomatoey Orzo: Cheesy does it. This speedy orzo is packed with juicy cherry tomatoes, garlic and creamy soft cheese. Plate up with crispy cheese-topped asparagus spears and a sprinkle of pine nuts for the adults. Then tuck into a game of Magic Asparagus, for real life.
- Mild King Prawn Curry Quest With Sultana Rice And Herby Almonds: No curry swaps here. Simmer king prawns in a rich tomato sauce with garam masala before serving over sultana and carrot rice. Top it with herby almonds, or leave off for the kiddos. Ready? Start the quest!
- Bluey’s Fish Goujons With Mixed Fries And Curry Ketchup: This is fish and chips, the Bluey way. Bake breaded fish until deliciously golden before serving up with fries, buttery peas and a spicy curry ketchup. Don’t forget to hold the ketchup if you’re like Bingo and don’t like spice.
- Bingo-style BBQ Chicken Burger With Fries And Zingy Cucumber: Bluey’s burger shop is open for business. Level up your BBQ game with chicken breast smothered in smoky sauce. Load it into brioche with crispy lettuce and serve up with golden fries and pickled or plain cucumber on the side. Order up.
The new Bluey recipe box range comes after a new survey by Gousto reveals that only half (48%) of British parents of 3 – 10 year-olds make the time to sit down as a family to enjoy a meal together every day.
While almost three in four (72%) parents claim to be raising pint-sized picky eaters, the most popular ingredients for a rave review meal include pasta, chicken, cheese, rice, fish fingers and cucumbers. So mealtimes will become even easier for the 25% of parents currently whipping up different dinners for their children, with these tasty dinner recipes designed to delight everyone in the family.
Gousto is the UK’s best recipe box for choice, with over 250 scene-stealing recipes to discover on the menu every month, from just £2.99 per meal. All recipes are tried and tested by expert chefs, made with fresh, quality and responsibly sourced ingredients. Head to Gousto to find out more.
