JD Sports, the leading global sports fashion retailer, will open the doors to its biggest JD store in the world at Manchester’s iconic Trafford Centre this Saturday (7 June), setting a new benchmark for its stores worldwide. This landmark opening demonstrates JD’s commitment to redefining the retail experience globally, delivering world-class shopping experiences fueled by the unstoppable energy of youth and JD’s Forever Forward mission.
This is the ultimate destination for fresh fits and exclusive flex with the Trafford Centre store having undergone a transformative expansion, more than tripling its retail space to 41,000 square feet. And that’s not all. Located in one of the UK’s most iconic shopping spots, the new store is set to turn heads with JD’s biggest ever store front – a whopping 92-metres.

We see the world through the mindset of our customer, know what they want and set the trends for them. This opening showcases JD’s relentless drive to bring our global customers exceptional retail experiences and differentiated product, backed by our strong brand partnerships. At the same time, it’s a celebration of our roots – Manchester has been close to the heart of JD’s journey since we opened our first store in Bury in 1981. As we continue to expand our footprint across the world, the Trafford Centre store represents the future of JD: bold, forward-thinking, and deeply connected to the communities we serve.”

In true JD style, things are kicking things off with a launch packed with next-level in-store experiences that shoppers won’t find anywhere else – bringing together the biggest names with some mega giveaways to bring the hype:
