Jisp launches ‘Scan & Win Video’ – turning any screen into a shoppable, rewardable brand moment

JispAward-winning retail technology company Jisp has today announced the launch of Scan & Win Video, a groundbreaking new feature that allows shoppers to scan moving video content—from TV ads and digital signage to cinema screens and social videos—to instantly unlock real-time rewards and enter instant win competitions.

This innovation is set to redefine the boundaries between media and retail, enabling FMCG brands to bridge the gap between ad spend and shopper conversion with measurable, gamified experiences that drive footfall, product trial, and long-term loyalty.

“In a world where attention is the new currency, brands need more than awareness—they need action,” said Alex Rimmer, director of marketing & communications at Jisp. “Scan & Win Video is our answer to that challenge. It brings campaigns to life, turning brand storytelling into immediate shopper engagement.”

With Scan & Win Video, any screen becomes a gateway to shopper activation. Consumers simply open the Jisp app and scan a video as it plays—whether it’s on a TV, digital display, in-store monitor, or even a mobile feed.

Upon scanning, they are instantly rewarded with entry into a prize draw, instant win notifications and brand-funded promotions or product discounts.

Jisp’s Scan & Win Video delivers a powerful combination of brand engagement and measurable retail impact. By converting passive media views into real-world shopper actions, it drives product trial and discovery—particularly for new or hero SKUs—at scale.

The instant gratification of winning reinforces brand recall, while seamless integration across TV, out-of-home, in-store, and social channels ensures campaigns stay consistent and connected. Most importantly, it provides deep, actionable shopper data and engagement metrics, giving brands the insight they need to optimise performance and ROI.

Jisp’s Scan & Win Video builds on the company’s success with Scan & Save, which delivers instant, brand-funded discounts in local convenience stores. Now, with this new innovation, Jisp enables brands to activate consumers across all media environments and funnel them directly into in-store action.

This opens exciting new possibilities for seasonal campaigns, sports sponsorship activations, cinema launches, and more—turning brand impressions into immediate in-store results.

“Imagine watching a football match or a film trailer, scanning a screen with your phone, and winning a discount on a related product in your local shop,” added Rimmer. “It’s part gaming, part sampling—and fully measurable ROI.”

Scan & Win Video is now available to FMCG brands and media buyers looking to create cutting-edge experiential campaigns that truly connect storytelling to shelf.
