LibertyLiberty is pleased to announce the appointment of Beverley Devonish as the new store director of its historic Regent Street flagship. With over two decades of experience at the forefront of luxury fashion and experiential retail, Beverley joins Liberty at a pivotal moment in its 150-year journey – bringing with her a dynamic vision for innovation, storytelling, and customer excellence.

Beverley has held senior leadership roles at some of the UK’s most influential retail institutions, including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and Dover Street Market. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for delivering strategic transformation, cultivating creative talent, and redefining what the in-store experience can be through immersive brand environments and deeply considered client journeys.

“Having spent the last year and a half developing my own creative practice, I’m thrilled to join Liberty – a brand that has long stood at the intersection of art, culture, and retail innovation,” says Devonish. “With its rich heritage and commitment to creativity, Liberty offers an incredible platform to continue shaping meaningful, client-focused experiences that celebrate individuality and craftsmanship. It’s exciting to be part of an environment that champions creativity while staying true to authenticity.”

As store director, Beverley will lead Liberty’s flagship store team in delivering the company’s commercial and cultural vision. Her focus will be on elevating the client experience, inspiring high-performance teams, and driving Liberty’s continued reputation as a world-class retail destination. A key member of the senior retail leadership team, Beverley will play an instrumental role in guiding strategy, fostering collaboration across departments, and upholding Liberty’s legacy of excellence in visual presentation, brand storytelling, and service.

With Liberty continuing to evolve its retail concept to reflect modern luxury values – creativity, individuality, and inclusivity – Beverley’s arrival marks a new chapter in the store’s storied legacy, bringing together its heritage of craftsmanship with a bold, future-facing outlook.
