Leading Irish chocolatier Lir Chocolates is expanding the Baileys Chocolate range by launching the new Baileys Mint Chocolate Easter Egg, crafted to capitalise on popular flavour trends.
The new Baileys Mint Chocolate Easter Egg is comprised of a mint chocolate shell with crispy pieces and a hint of Irish Cream. The egg is embossed with the Baileys logo and is accompanied by Baileys Chocolate Mint Truffles – a crisp chocolate shell with a smooth mint chocolate truffle filling and a hint of Baileys Irish Cream, available from selected retailers at RRP £12.
Ethan Duffey, Brand Manager for Baileys Chocolate said: “We recognise the consumer shift towards seeking affordable luxuries, particularly during these holiday periods and are delighted to be able to produce innovative products in line with this demand. Furthermore, we understand that these occasions also provide retailers with the opportunity to increase their sales and the inherent trust customers have in the iconic Baileys brand, is a brilliant way to encourage shopper trade ups during this period.”
Baileys Chocolate Easter eggs are packaged without plastic fitments and are Rainforest Alliance certified to reflect the brand’s dedication to reducing its environmental impact, whilst continuing to bring customers unique and exciting products.
Due to last year’s success, Baileys Chocolate is also bringing back seasonal favourites for Easter 2025, aiming to help retailers capitalise on the peak confectionery sales season. Baileys Chocolate sales grew 56.3% compared to last year in the 12 week lead up to Easter, making it the fastest growing Easter egg brand in the UK. Consumers can shop the Baileys Chocolate Original Easter Egg at selected retailers, including Sainsbury’s, Morrisons Aldi and Ocado, RRP £12. Also available this year is the Baileys Salted Caramel Easter Egg, available from Ocado and Morrisons, RRP £12.
