Little Saints debuts St. Oak: the zero-proof whiskey worth putting on your top shelf

Reading Time: 4 mins read

Little Saints, the Miami-based pioneer of mushroom-powered non-alcoholic beverages, today announced the launch of St. Oak: a sophisticated zero-proof whiskey that brings the warm notes of a rye with the sweet finish of bourbon to the growing alcohol-free spirits category.

Launching Tuesday, November 4, St. Oak isn’t your typical “whiskey-flavored water.” This sophisticated spirit channels the essence of a spicy, top-shelf Bulleit with a flirtatious wink from the sweet finish of Maker’s Mark, all while packing the functional power of lion’s mane and reishi mushroom, and damiana extracts.

Translation: You can finally sip an Old Fashioned without the morning-after regrets.

“This one’s for discerning drinker with a whiskey itch, who won’t settle for whiskey-flavored water without soul. Just because I don’t drink alcohol anymore doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be able to enjoy a top-shelf Manhattan in a dark bar.” said Megan Klein, founder of Little Saints.

The Secret Sauce (Spoiler: It’s Not Just Mushrooms)

Unlike other non-alcoholic whiskey alternatives that lose their flavor profile when mixed into cocktails, St. Oak features real extracts of American and French Oak, plus pure vanilla, cardamom and caramel extracts. These oil-based extracts maintain their complexity and depth, ensuring that cocktails made with St. Oak deliver the full sensory experience of traditional whiskey drinks.

The Stats That’ll Make You Look Smart at Parties:

  • 48% of US Adults say they do not plan to drink this holiday season (Civic Science).

  • Adult drinking rate plunges to the lowest point in 90 years at only 54% (Gallup).

  • The non-alcoholic whiskey alternatives market is growing at 8.9% annually and is projected to hit $361 million by 2033 (Growth Market Reports).

  • 40 % of whiskey drinkers in North America are women, more than double the share in the 1990s (Next Tribe).

  • Zebra-striping, alternating alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, is now practiced by ~25 % of British adults, 78 % of Gen Z, and globally 68 % of Gen Z prefer low- or no-alcohol drinks, while 48 % actively choose to drink less (IWSR/Technomic, etc.).

Tasting Notes for Your Inner Sommelier

St. Oak delivers sophisticated notes of oak and wood spice, with a curious blend of vanilla, caramel, and cardamom. It is best enjoyed in a snifter or mixed into a Manhattan that won’t leave lead to regretful texts later in the evening.

The Mushroom Magic

Each bottle is powered by a trifecta of functional mushrooms:

  • Lion’s Mane: For when you need to remember your brilliant ideas

  • Reishi: The “chill pill” mushroom for holiday stress

  • Damiana: An ancient mood booster

Availability

St. Oak launches Tuesday, November 4 at $49.99 per bottle, roughly the cost of two overpriced airport cocktails and infinitely more satisfying.

St. Oak is available exclusively at www.littlesaints.com for this holiday season, debuting at bars and restaurants nationwide in 2026.
