Brighton is set to welcome a game-changing retail activation this spring with the launch of Local Hero – a dynamic, ever-evolving pop-up space powered by Lone Design Club and brought to life by Ingka Centres. Nestled in the heart of Churchill Square, in Brighton, Local Hero is a launchpad for the future of retail, a cutting-edge retail hub designed to empower brands, providing a seamless, high-impact space to test, launch, and connect directly with customers in one of the UK’s most vibrant coastal cities.
Launching in June, the Local Hero pop-up space is set to revolutionise retail with its first-of-its-kind retail concept, designed to break the cycle of inaccessible high-street spaces and give emerging brands the visibility they deserve. The space is a fully equipped retail destination offering brands the opportunity to host short-term activations, product launches, and experiential retail experiences in a high-footfall location. Over the next 12 months, the space will rotate an exciting mix of emerging and established fashion, beauty, lifestyle and sustainable brands, offering them a unique platform to tell their stories and connect with the Brighton community.
“This partnership represents our commitment to fostering a thriving retail landscape where emerging brands can connect with communities and redefine the shopping experience. We look forward to seeing this space evolve as a hub for creativity, discovery, and engagement,” said Rebecca Morter, Founder & CEO Lone Design club.
