Lucy & YakSocially and environmentally conscious lifestyle brand Lucy & Yak is pleased to announce its membership with Fair Wear, a multi-stake holder initiative that advances workers’ rights across global supply chains and supports responsible business practices.

The membership marks an important milestone in Lucy & Yak’s ongoing approach to ethical and transparent production.

Lucy & Yak is dedicated to ethical standards and takes responsibility for the labour conditions in which its products are made. This commitment extends across its supply chain, to its business partners, consumers and the wider society it is part of.

Lucy & Yak’s Fair Wear membership will begin in January 2026, with Fair Wear’s Code of Labour Practices being incorporated into Lucy & Yak’s existing Responsible Sourcing Policy. The code outlines internationally recognised labour standards, which apply across all workplaces where Lucy & Yak’s products are manufactured.

From January, Lucy & Yak will work closely with its suppliers to ensure a shared understanding of the labour standards, which suppliers will be expected to adhere to.

Lucy & Yak is committed to prioritising long-term business relationships that support the sustainable implementation of decent working conditions for all those involved in production.

“Joining Fair Wear is a big milestone for Lucy & Yak and we’re proud to take this next step in our responsible sourcing program. This collaboration will support us in many ways, from strengthening our human rights due diligence to enabling measurable progress throughout our supply chain,” said Kate O’Grady, head of sustainability and ethics at Lucy & Yak.
