Nando’sThe leading UK retail and leisure real estate agency, Lunson Mitchenall, has successfully secured a new 3,450 sq ft lease for Nando’s within Get Living’s One Maidenhead development.

The new Nando’s restaurant, set to open in Spring 2025, marks the brand’s first Maidenhead location and aligns with its ongoing strategy of targeting quality mixed-use developments. The deal, secured on a 15-year lease, is part of Lunson Mitchenall’s broader mandate to identify and secure prime retail and leisure sites for this major household name across the UK.

One Maidenhead, Get Living’s first development outside a major city, represents a significant regeneration project for the town centre. Alongside 429 residential rental units, the scheme provides 22,000 sq ft of commercial, retail, and leisure space. With its proximity to Maidenhead Station on the Elizabeth Line and the Odeon cinema complex, the development is set to become a vibrant hub for shopping and entertainment.

As a key player in shaping the UK’s retail and leisure landscape, Lunson Mitchenall has a long-standing track record of advising leading brands on acquisition strategies.

Will Stone at Lunson Mitchenall commented: “This deal reinforces Lunson Mitchenall’s position as a trusted adviser in the restaurant and leisure sector, delivering strategic new sites that support brand expansion across the UK. We are delighted to have secured Nando’s latest restaurant as part of their continued growth strategy.”

Saj Ali at Nando’s added: “Will and the LM team were instrumental in securing this strategically positioned town centre site that forms a key part of the wider Maidenhead masterplan and delivers on an important town requirement. Will’s proactiveness, communication and commerciality ensured the deal got across the line. With an impressive array of instructions and F&B sector-specific insight, Lunson Mitchenall are well-placed to advise and unlock target towns and opportunities.”

Lunson Mitchenall’s Restaurant and Leisure team advises on a range of occupier requirements across the F&B and leisure market, whilst the firm is also retained by key retail, restaurant and leisure destinations such as Lakeside, Metrocentre, Southbank Place, The O2, Bristol Cabot Circus, and Southampton Westquay, curating vibrant and diverse F&B and leisure line-ups that enhance visitor experience and commercial success.
