MOMO Kombucha collaborates with Natoora to launch new Amadora’s Passion Fruit Kombucha

South London–based husband and wife team, MOMO Kombucha (www.momo-kombucha.com), create Great Taste Award–winning kombucha using traditional methods. This September, the New Covent Garden Market-based brewery launch Amadora’s Passion Fruit Kombucha (£4.50 per 330ml glass bottle) in collaboration with Natoora (natoora.com).

Available from 30th September at momo-kombucha.com, Natoora, GAIL’s Bakery, Selfridges, Planet Organic and Whole Foods Market. This new seasonal flavour is Soil Association certified organic and marks both MOMO and Natoora’s first Spanish-grown collaboration, and the first working with a female producer. Sales of this kombucha will also support Natoora’s Farm Fund, helping the next generation of farmers shape a more sustainable future.

Vibrant and zesty with a sweet tropical burst, this kombucha stars organic passion fruit grown by fourth-generation farmer Amadora in Mairena del Alcor, Seville. Unlike commercial crops picked early to withstand transport, Amadora’s passion fruit is never harvested from the vine. Instead, she lays nets beneath the plants and waits for the fruit to drop naturally: a sign it has reached peak ripeness. This patient, hands-off approach produces passion fruit that is less acidic, vibrantly sweet, and full of aromatic depth.

MOMO’s raw, unfiltered kombucha provides the perfect backdrop for the fruit’s rich, tropical profile, balancing natural sweetness with the tangy, refreshing lift of living kombucha cultures. The result is a drink that’s vibrantly sweet and sour with a tropical burst: naturally balanced and refreshingly bright.

Passion fruit has an unusual seasonality, with two short harvest windows each year: from December to March, and from July to August. Natoora’s relationship with Amadora ensures the fruit is picked, or rather caught, at its absolute best, allowing chefs, makers, and customers to taste the fruit exactly as it should be: rich, ripe, and wrinkled by the Andalusian sun.

Founder of MOMO Kombucha, Josh Puddle, says: “We’re incredibly excited about this brand new collaboration with Natoora; our first Spanish-grown seasonal flavour, and our first working with a female producer. Amadora’s passion fruit is exceptional in every way: sweet, vibrant, and bursting with tropical character. As always the brewers have done an amazing job capturing the flavour of this exotic fruit in its purest form.”
