To take timely advantage of the desire for all-things chocolate – with Easter fast-approaching – Nirvana Brewery has launched a Chocolate Porter (0.5% ABV).
It’s the brewery’s first new beer since the appointment of James Rabagliati as Head Brewer – and follows Nirvana re-releasing its original London Porter late last year.
The rich, dark, velvety brown beer combines the depth of flavour found in the Porter with rich notes from 100% cocoa nibs. It’s said to place roasted malts and chocolate centre stage, with hints of spice, coffee and caramel.
Becky Kean, founder and brand ambassador, said: “The enduring popularity of our London Porter encouraged us to go on a bit of a flavour adventure with it – leading us to the complex and indulgent notes you can get from cocoa nibs. It’s definitely one for the season – and for chocolate lovers!”
