What is the licensing deal?
Piccolo started with the mission to be a go-to option for families who want to feed their children the best, high-quality food. In the past year, Piccolo has been backed further by major retailers such as Tesco and Waitrose both doubling the Piccolo range, as well as becoming the sole baby food pouch brand in M&S.
The major licensing deal with the #1 Kids YouTube channel in the world, CoComelon is another step to their fast-growing brand & raising awareness with families of their nutritionally superior range.
Bringing the joy of the popular character JJ through their newly reformulated baby snack range, parents will be able to feed their babies and toddlers tasty, nutritious snacks that will engage them beyond the food.
CoComelon will be featured across Piccolo’s Multigrain Puffs Single packs (15g) and Multipacks (4x15g) as well as it’s duo of fibre-rich Oaty Bars (6x20g). The Piccolo X CoComelon collaboration will also be launching on a range of NPD launching later in 2024.
What’s special about the products?
Piccolo’s co-branded baby snack range includes Oaty Bars and Multigrain Puffs in two formats.
The Oaty Bars, coming in two flavours (Banana & Cocoa; Apple, Carrot & Orange) are made with gluten-free, wholegrain oats and are high in fibre, as well as vegan. Fibre is an essential part of children’s diets to support the digestive system; Piccolo ensured this was factored in when reformulating the recipes. The Apple, Carrot & Orange Oaty Bar contains 51% more fibre and 32% less sugar than the market leader.
The Multigrain Puff Tomato Rings and Multigrain Puff Carrot Stars are available in a newly launched multipack option to meet the needs of parents searching for ‘family pack’ options. Both puffs are also a source of fibre, containing 30% more fibre compared to other baby and toddler puff snacks on the market. Made with ingredients like protein-rich red lentils, the Carrot and Multigrain Stars also have 54% more protein than market leading alternative. Piccolo is dedicated to making sure babies are filled with nothing but the nutrition they need.
The CoComelon cobranded snacks will be available across all of Piccolo’s baby snacks as of February 2024. They will be available to purchase from Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and M&S, with more retailers coming soon.

Piccolo founder and mum of three Cat Gazzoli comments: “This is a really exciting time for Piccolo as it’s the first ever licensing deal we’ve done. As a mum of three, I know all too well how popular CoComelon (it’s been quite the savior on busy work days) and it’s amazing to see this collaboration come to life on our packaging. I know how hard it is to to make sure our children are getting all the nutrients they need at home, let alone when on the go, so I’m so pleased to see the extension and reformulation of our snack range to support parents with products that put nutrition first, second, and third.”
Samar Selby Altaf, director FMCG at Moonbug Entertainment, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Piccolo to offer this new range of CoComelon branded snacks. We understand the importance of providing little ones with tasty nutritious snacks, whilst getting them interested and excited about their food. The combination of our beloved characters with Piccolo’s recipes provides parents and carers with a great solution for those on-the-go or in-between meals moments.”
