Puma revives a classic: seven new colourways of the Palermo hit Footasylum shelves this August

Puma - Retailer NewsThis year, Puma dives deep into its archives to bring back a true classic: the iconic Palermo. Arriving now at Footasylum are seven fresh colourways, perfect for gigs, BBQs, and the much-anticipated return to the terraces for the start of the new football season.

In celebration of this fan favourite’s comeback, Footasylum and Puma have joined forces with the very heart of the football community: grassroots football clubs. Footasylum has equipped teams nationwide, delivering fresh pairs of the Palermo to clubs such as NQFC (men’s) and  Worsley Wanderers (women’s) from Manchester, both teams featuring within the campaign creative.

A  Footasylum spokesperson shared their excitement about the partnership, stating: “It’s brilliant to partner with one of the biggest footwear brands in the world and give back to a community that deserves it. Grassroots football is a staple of British culture and plays a massive role in the world of sports and fashion.”

Stay tuned across the Footasylum socials @Footasylum on instagram and TikTok to be part of the journey as Puma and Footasylum continue their activations across Manchester, Liverpool and London, and for those of you in Manchester on the 24 August, Footasylum will be showing up in secret locations offering followers the chance to find the Foootasylum x Puma van to win free Puma Palermo trainers and more throughout the day.
