From bright Tequilas to smoky Mezcals and the rustic character of the lesser-known Raicilla, agave spirits have captured the imagination of drinks enthusiasts like never before.
Following the successful 2025 debut, which welcomed more than 600 agave enthusiasts to London’s Southbank, the Tequila & Mezcal Show returns this year for another celebration of Mexico’s vibrant spirits culture.
Running for two sessions on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 May, the show brings over 250 spirits from across Mexico to Glazier’s Hall — from well-known Tequilas and Mezcals to distinctive regional spirits such as Raicilla and even non-Mexican agave.
At the heart of the show is a focus on education, with guests invited to discover the stories, traditions and craft behind each pour. Co-hosted by Dawn Davies MW, Head Buyer at The Whisky Exchange, and Jesse Estes, Global Brand Ambassador for Tequila Ocho, the show will feature a programme of main stage talks and guided tours, alongside brand ambassadors and category experts on hand throughout the event to share their knowledge.
Beyond the spirits themselves, guests can explore the creativity and flavour that surrounds Mexico’s drinks culture, with Mexibrits, the UK directory for all things Mexican, once again bringing a curated selection of Mexican food and craft stalls to the show, alongside some fabulous Mariachi performances!
Cocktails have been key in introducing new audiences to agave spirits, showcasing their versatility and flavour. During the show guests can enjoy a pop-up cocktail bar, where a complimentary cocktail token can be used to explore agave spirits in a range of signature serves.
“The popularity of cocktails like the Paloma and spicy Margarita is definitely one of the key growth drivers for agave and has spurred other spirit categories to create drinks in these styles” says Dawn Davies MW, Head Buyer at The Whisky Exchange. “That’s why the cocktail bar at Tequila & Mezcal show is so important. Guests don’t just taste the neat spirit, but also find out creative ways to serve it!” From classic serves to lesser-known regional styles, the show invites guests to explore the depth and diversity of agave.
Tickets start from £45 and are available here: Tequila & Mezcal Show
