Red Run reveals expansion with new menswear collection

Red RunRed Run, the award-winning dynamic athleisure brand, has expanded, launching a menswear collection packed with ten different pieces.

Launching in lockdown in 2020, the brand has grown considerably, first opening a store on the city’s Royal Albert Dock, before opening the flagship Liverpool ONE store in October 2023, Red Run’s womenswear collections have repeatedly sold out.

With co-founder and creative director Megan Kimmance studying fashion and specialising in menswear, it was always her dream to expand her collections and felt that now the time was right.

Kimmance, 35, explained: “Menswear has always been a personal passion of mine as it was my area of specialisation as a designer. It has always been part of my long-term vision for Red Run to develop a menswear collection but myself and the team wanted to ensure that we’d solidified the market with our womenswear collection and built a strong foundation before considering diversification.

“After four incredible years, and having successfully established our womenswear range, now felt like the perfect time to expand and show just what we can design, develop and achieve when it comes to creating exceptional quality, distinctive style and the perfect fit for an exciting, must-have menswear collection. Red Run is built on these core attributes which infiltrate each and every process within the brand.”

Red Run’s first menswear collection is named Drop 1 and includes ten carefully crafted essential pieces that make up the fundamentals of any stylish wardrobe.

Crafted for individuals that appreciate exceptional quality, all of Red Run’s collections are all created in-house by the dedicated design team, ensuring that each piece is carefully conceptualised, developed and crafted from scratch. This guarantees originality and a unique identity, setting the brand apart from mass-market offerings.

Kimmance continued: “At Red Run, we focus on an entire life cycle for our products which is planned 12 months in advance; this includes initial design right through to the finished product and every stage is managed in-house. This forward-thinking approach is essential for the brand, particularly as we prepare for significant wholesale expansion in 2025.

“Expanding to offer a menswear collection is the perfect way to end 2024 and what has been another successful and monumental year for Red Run in terms of exciting partnerships and forging new relationships as we continue to grow and develop the brand. We’re all very excited for another phenomenal year in 2025.”

Red Run’s full menswear collection is available to shop at https://www.myredrun.com/ and in Flannels stores across the UK.
