Rithum, a leading global commerce solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Mausam Bhatt as Chief Product Officer, effective March 30, 2026. In this role, Bhatt will lead Rithum’s global product organisation, bringing unified leadership to how the company builds, evolves and scales its platform as it accelerates its next phase of growth.

Bhatt’s appointment reinforces Rithum’s continued investment in product innovation and its commitment to delivering a more connected, intelligent commerce experience for brands, retailers and suppliers worldwide. As Chief Product Officer, he will oversee all product teams and work closely with executive leadership to define and execute Rithum’s product strategy, with a focus on platform scalability, AI-driven capabilities and long-term customer value.

“Mausam brings exactly the depth of experience we need at this stage of Rithum’s growth,” said Lou Keyes, CEO of Rithum. “He has spent his career building platforms that serve hundreds of millions of consumers and businesses, and that’s the level of ambition we’re bringing to what we build next. His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to evolve our platform and deliver innovative solutions that help our customers stay competitive and grow.”

In his role, Bhatt will focus on advancing Rithum’s product strategy to deliver a more unified, intelligent platform experience for customers, with key priorities including:

  • Accelerating innovation across Rithum’s core commerce, marketplace and retail media solutions

  • Expanding AI-driven capabilities powered by RithumIQ, including product content optimisation, automated catalog mapping and predictive insights to improve performance across channels

  • Advancing intelligent automation in areas such as pricing, inventory management and fulfillment to help brands and retailers operate more efficiently and at scale

Bhatt brings extensive experience building and scaling global digital platforms across commerce, marketplaces and consumer technology. Most recently, Bhatt served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Realtor.com, where he led product and engineering and drove platform modernisation, including the adoption of AI-powered capabilities.

Previously, he held senior product leadership roles at Google, leading commerce initiatives across Google Shopping, and served as Chief Product Officer at RetailMeNot. He was also part of the senior leadership team at Flipkart, helping scale the platform to more than 75 million users and over $4 billion in annual revenue. With a career spanning some of the world’s most recognised technology and commerce platforms, Bhatt brings a proven ability to translate complex market dynamics into scalable product strategies that drive growth, innovation and customer impact.

“Rithum’s network gives it a unique vantage point into how commerce actually operates across brands, retailers, and partners,” said Bhatt. “Combined with the data that flows through that network, there’s a real opportunity to help customers operate more intelligently and grow efficiently using agentic commerce. I’m excited to build that opportunity alongside the talented team at Rithum.”
