Roadchef, one of the UK’s leading motorway service operators has announced the opening of a new McDonald’s Drive-Thru at its Clacket Lane Eastbound services located between junctions 5 and 6 on the M25, marking a significant enhancement in customer convenience and on-the-go dining options.

This development is part of Roadchef’s broader commitment to improving its facilities as the Drive-Thru provides customers the convenience to drive in, order and drive out. This opening marks Roadchef’s eighth McDonald’s Drive-Thru across its 30 McDonald’s restaurants located at Roadchef sites across the UK, highlighting the company’s strategic focus on expanding its partnership with one of the world’s most recognisable food brands.

Commenting on the opening, Dan Sutton, operations excellence director at Roadchef, said: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with McDonalds and bring this Drive-Thru to one of the UK’s busiest motorways. The new Drive-Thru delivers a quick and seamless experience, where customers can simply drive in, order and drive out and be back on their way in minutes. This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to evolving with customer needs. The new McDonald’s Drive-Thru at Clacket Lane Eastbound offers even more convenience for our customers, with a smoother, faster experience from arrival to departure.”

The opening of the McDonald’s Drive-Thru marks the second drive-thru at Clacket Lane, joining the existing Costa Drive-Thru. It forms part of Roadchef’s ongoing investment in modernising its facilities and ensuring Clacket Lane Services remains a top choice for motorists seeking convenience, variety, and high-quality services on their journeys.
