Russell & Atwell has expanded its lineup at Booths Supermarkets with an exclusive, limited-edition release of Clotted Cream fresh chocolates made with rich, Clotton Creamery clotted cream. The new chocolates are set to launch in store mid September.
Building on the success of its popular Cornish Dream chocolates, Russell & Atwell has teamed up with Clotton Creamery, a Cheshire-based family-run dairy that creates luxurious dairy products using milk from its free-range cows.
Steve Russell, co-founder and chocolatier at Russell & Atwell, said: “We believe fresh ingredients are key to exceptional chocolate. Clotton’s rich clotted cream adds an incredible depth and richness to our signature chocolate. We are very excited to introduce these new limited-edition chocolates to customers of Booths.”
Henry Cooke, managing partner at Clotton Creamery, added: “When our Booth’s buyer David introduced us to Russell & Atwell and proposed a collaboration, we jumped at the chance. Pairing our traditional clotted cream with their irresistible chocolate resulted in a match made in heaven.”
Combining Clotton Creamery’s luscious clotted cream with Russell & Atwell’s signature recipe, each chocolate features a smooth, indulgent centre wrapped in a thick milk chocolate shell for a delightful taste of summer.
Designed to be enjoyed cold, these fresh chocolates make a remarkably refreshing treat straight from the fridge. Alternatively, serving them straight from the freezer offers a dense, decadent texture reminiscent of a gourmet choc ice.
Made with 100% real ingredients, and never with palm oil, Russell & Atwell’s hand-finished fresh chocolates have their famous ‘double crack’ bite sensation. Crafted with Fino de Aroma Colombian cocoa, they are the perfect after-dinner treat. Cracking open the delicate outer shell reveals a smooth, scrumptious centre packed with flavour, beautifully finished with an indulgent base layer of chocolate.
Russell & Atwell use the highest quality sustainable ingredients from small ethical, predominantly British producers. Their chocolates are made from responsibly sourced cocoa, fresh organic British double cream and butter, Salisbury Plain wildflower honey and a pinch of Dorset Sea Salt. This award-winning combination creates a moreish blend of taste and texture.
Unlike long-life chocolates, Russell & Atwell’s chocolates are fresh and designed to be stored in the fridge for up to 12 weeks.
With British honey a key ingredient in their chocolates, every pouch sold actively supports Buglife, helping the charity in establishing crucial wildflower B-Lines to protect bees and other pollinators.
Russell & Atwell’s Clotton Clotted Cream fresh chocolates are exclusively available at Booths Supermarkets (in the fridge aisle). This new flavour joins Russell & Atwell’s existing core range of Creamy Milk, Salted Caramel and Dirty Blond.
