Lindt CHOCO WAFER to partner with Macmillan Coffee Morning

Lindt CHOCO WAFERLindt & Sprüngli UK have today announced that its Lindt CHOCO WAFER brand will be teaming up with charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, this September, becoming official partners of Macmillan’s iconic Coffee Morning for 2026, helping to raise awareness and vital funds to support people living with cancer.

Taking place on Friday 25th September, Macmillan Coffee Morning brings people together across the UK to have fun, create moments of connection, and help raise funds to make sure every person with cancer gets the support they need, whoever and wherever they are. While cancer can affect every aspect of a person’s life, not everyone has the same experience of diagnosis, treatment and care.

Through the partnership, Lindt CHOCO WAFER will launch its ‘Pause for a good cause’ initiative across Lindt stores, retailers and Lindt.co.uk, encouraging people to pop the kettle on, enjoy a delicious Lindt CHOCO WAFER and take a moment to connect with someone, all while supporting Macmillan.

First launched in 2023, Lindt’s CHOCO WAFER comes in three flavours – Milk Chocolate, Milk Hazelnut and Dark Chocolate – and in a variety of different formats. A delicious combination of creamy Lindt chocolate and crispy cocoa wafers, expertly crafted by the Lindt Master Chocolatiers, make it the perfect accompaniment to a coffee and a moment shared with friends, family or colleagues.

And as part of the partnership, from 1st-30th September, a 30% discount will be available across all Lindt CHOCO WAFER boxed products at Lindt stores and through Lindt.co.uk, helping Macmillan Coffee Morning hosts add that little extra indulgence to their fundraising events.

Angèle Villet, marketing director at Lindt & Sprüngli UK, said: “Some of our best conversations happen over a coffee or cup of tea, and a little treat. In a world where life often feels busy, taking a moment to pause and connect with others can make all the difference. That’s why we’re so proud to be supporting Macmillan Coffee Morning this year as the exclusive confectionery partner.

“Through our ‘Pause for a good cause’ initiative, we’re encouraging people to put the kettle on, enjoy a Lindt CHOCO WAFER, and take a moment to catch up with friends, family or colleagues; while helping to raise vital funds for Macmillan and the incredible support they provide to people living with cancer.”

Jan Forrest, head of relationship fundraising at Macmillan Cancer Support, says: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Lindt & Sprüngli and CHOCO WAFER for this year’s Coffee Morning. The much-loved fundraiser is a great chance to come together and show your friends and loved ones that no one has to face cancer alone.

“It’s amazing to see how Coffee Morning has evolved over the years, with supporters hosting all kinds of brilliant events, from puppy playdates to chai afternoons and garden barbeques. But Coffee Morning doesn’t need to be big, simply getting together helps us support even more people affected by cancer.

“Right now, there are almost 3.5m people living with cancer in the UK. Everyone deserves the best possible care, but too many people aren’t receiving it.

“Better is possible, and it takes all of us for fairer cancer care. So, whether you raise a little or a lot, every single Coffee Morning takes us one step closer to better care, so that everyone with cancer gets the support they need, no matter who they are or where they live.”
