Sainsbury’s has launched a first-to-market Taste the Difference British Salad Selection Box 800g (£5, £6.25 / kg). Available in selected supermarkets and online for a limited time only, the Salad Box combines three British-grown customer favourites; Taste the Difference Pointed Peppers, a Midi Cucumber and two varieties of tomatoes in one convenient pack, providing customers with a simple way to enjoy quality produce this summer.

Joining Sainsbury’s wide range of British fruit and vegetables, the Salad Box celebrates the best of the summer harvest while showcasing the quality and variety of the produce, which is grown in Kent. Available for a limited time only, it offers customers a convenient way to enjoy a selection of British-grown salad favourites in one pack. Priced at £5 the Salad Selection Box offers customers on average a 24% saving compared with buying the ingredients separately.

Hannah O’Reilly, director of produce at Sainsbury’s, said: “The British growing season produces some fantastic salad ingredients and we’re delighted to bring together a selection of customer favourites in our new Taste the Difference Salad Selection Box. Made possible through our long-term relationships with British growers, it offers a convenient way to enjoy a selection of seasonal salad staples while delivering great value. It’s a celebration of the quality and variety of produce grown across the UK this summer.”
