Sainsbury’s launches this year’s festive wraps and sandwiches

Sainsbury'sWhile it might be a tad too early to put up and decorate the tree, it is the perfect time to enjoy a delicious Christmas sandwich from Sainsbury’s.

Available in-stores now, Sainsbury’s has launched a range of 10 mouth-watering Christmas sandwiches and wraps this year. With two new Taste the Difference options, a new by Sainsbury’s Chicken & Stuffing Christmas Wrap and the return of festive favourites, there’s plenty of choice for those hungry for the ultimate lunchtime treat!

For those that love a Boxing Day sarnie, the Taste the Difference Festive Porchetta Sandwich (£4.50) is the perfect choice. Flavour rich porchetta, cranberry-jewelled stuffing, unctuous gravy mayonnaise, fresh Apollo lettuce and a sweet cranberry sauce are sandwiched between slices of scrumptious onion bread, this is the perfect festive pick-me-up. 

The delicious Taste the Difference A Very Veggie Christmas Wrap (£4.25) is one of the best things you’ll unwrap this Christmas. Filled with sweet roasted butternut squash, a crumbled feta and pesto mix, mulled wine pickled cabbage and spinach and a tasty herb stuffing, this wrap is a flavour sensation.
Until 31st December, 10p per festive sandwich and wrap sold will be donated to Comic Relief to help fund initiatives to ensure communities have improved balanced, nutritional and sustainable food now and in the future. It will contribute to Sainsbury’s donation of over 5 million meals this winter.

·       by Sainsbury’s Brie & Cranberry, £3

·       by Sainsbury’s Turkey Feast, £3

·       by Sainsbury’s Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese, £3

·       by Sainsbury’s Free From Turkey Feast, £3

·       Plant Pioneers No Pigs Under Blankets, £3

Or upgrade your main with a selection of  Taste the Difference sarnies and wraps included in the £5 Meal Deal, to give your lunchtime the a holly, jolly boost:
