SBS partners with ReStore to drive smarter retail media growth across Europe

Leading European programmatic curation platform SBS has announced a strategic partnership with ReStore, the Italian-headquartered e-commerce platform serving large-scale distribution and a major player in the Retail Media Network (RMN) space.

This partnership brings together SBS’s cutting-edge programmatic curation technologies and expertise with ReStore’s unique first-party data and clean room infrastructure. This alliance marks a significant step forward in the evolution of ReStore’s RMN, enabling its partner brands – including many of Italy’s leading FMCG companies – to activate smarter, outcome-driven advertising campaigns across onsite, offsite, and instore media.

Spanning key European markets including the UK, Italy, France, Spain and Germany, the partnership offers brands access to best-in-class omnichannel media and analytics solutions. SBS leverages more than 50 state-of-the-art technologies, integrating proprietary algorithms and AI to deliver advanced programmatic tactics that sharpen strategy, improve targeting, and drive real-world outcomes such as sales uplift and ROI.

The new integrated approach it set to deliver:

  • Advanced data enrichment – Combine first-party data with ReStore’s insights to unlock high-performing segments

ReStore’s RMN currently covers 40% of Italy’s  grocery retail sector, operating across more than 500 cities and towns. Built on privacy-first data clean rooms, it uses deep insights into  consumer shopping behaviour to deliver  activation through leading programmatic platforms, reaching audiences at the most relevant moment in their journey.

Together, SBS and ReStore are creating a new benchmark for retail media performance in Europe. According to IAB Europe, Retail Media ad spend is forecast to grow to €21 billion in Europe in 2026. The amount of that spend that is outside of Amazon properties is growing at a CAGR of 65.2% in Italy, 44% in Spain, 28.7% in the UK, 28.8% in Germany and 31.2% in France. This highlights the opportunity this partnership is poised to unlock.
