GoWit, a leading global omnichannel Retail Media technology provider, proudly announces its Retail Media partnership with Heureka Group, a key player in e-commerce and the largest price comparison platform in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

This partnership marks a significant milestone in the region’s digital advertising landscape, unlocking new opportunities for brands, retailers, and online sellers to maximize their ad monetization, omnichannel customer reach, and ad performance through self-service Retail Media solutions.

Heureka Group operates in nine countries across CEE, reaching over 23 million visitors per month and collaborating with a vast network of over 55,000 online stores. By integrating GoWit’s Retail Media technology across its online platforms in Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina, Heureka will connect e-shops and brands with target customers, helping them expand their market presence and gain a competitive edge across the region.

Initially launching the Retail Media Networks in Slovenia (Ceneje.si) and Croatia (Jeftinije.hr) shopping markets, GoWit’s cutting-edge Retail Media platform, GoWit RMA, will enable Heureka’s advertisers to leverage high-impact omnichannel advertising solutions. By integrating GoWit’s AI-powered, self-service Retail Media technology, retailers gain the power to compete against big tech companies and increase their market share in advertising dollars. Brands will also gain access to a seamless, data-driven approach in advertising, ensuring greater visibility, engagement, and sales growth.

Empowering Advertisers with Game-changing Retail Media Solutions

This strategic partnership unlocks unparalleled Retail Media advertising opportunities for brands and sellers operating across Heureka Group’s platforms. Through GoWit’s omnichannel Retail Media solutions, advertisers gain access to self-service Retail Media Ads in minutes, empowering them to launch campaigns in seconds, manage, and optimize campaigns with full control and transparency. Brands can seamlessly engage shoppers across multiple digital touchpoints, leveraging on-site and off-site precision targeting to drive visibility, engagement, and conversions.

Maximizing Ad Performance with AI Support and Precise Targeting

With AI-powered bidding algorithms and advanced targeting capabilities, advertisers can maximize performance by delivering highly relevant, data-driven ads based on user behavior, search intent, demographics, and geographic location. Contextual and location-based targeting ensures that ads appear at the most opportune moments, reaching shoppers when they are actively searching for products or making purchasing decisions.

Starting with Sponsored Product Ads, brands can diversify their advertising strategy by incorporating a mix of Retail Media ad formats, including Sponsored Brand Ads, Display Ads, and Video Ads. This approach helps capture customer attention throughout their buying journey with full-funnel interactive ad campaigns. These solutions not only enhance product discoverability but also strengthen brand positioning across Heureka’s vast e-commerce ecosystem.

By integrating Retail Media into their marketing mix, brands and agencies can harness the power of precisely targeted, performance-driven advertising, ensuring higher ROI, increased conversion rates, and stronger customer relationships. This partnership between GoWit and Heureka Group represents a transformative shift for e-commerce advertisers in Central and Eastern Europe, offering them a future-proof, omnichannel Retail Media strategy that drives sales and long-term brand growth.

A Transformative Vision for European Retail Media, Unlocking Revenue and Personalization Opportunities

On the strategic collaboration, Urban Satler, product head of brand tribe at Heureka Group, shared: “Our partnership with GoWit represents a strategic leap forward in our vision to enhance the e-commerce experience for both brands and consumers. By integrating GoWit’s omnichannel Retail Media solutions, we will empower brands to increase their impact across multiple platforms, providing precisely targeted, high-performance advertising experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

As we strengthen our position as the foremost Retail Media network in the region, we are committed to helping customers find the right products effortlessly while enabling brands to reach and engage their ideal audience in a more personalized and impactful way.”

The European digital Retail Media market was estimated at €14.3 billion in 2024. According to WARC, Retail Media advertising spending in Europe is forecast to rise to €22.3 billion in 2026 and €31.3 billion by 2028 (excluding in-store spending). Digital advertising spending in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) has significantly contributed to this growth. In 2023, the total digital advertising expenditure in the CEE region was estimated to be around $18.9 billion, and this growth is expected to continue, with projections indicating a 33% increase between 2024 and 2029. The internet remains the leading advertising medium in most CEE countries, accounting for more than half of the total expenditure.

In 2023, the value of the e-commerce market in the CEE region increased by 29%, reaching €104 billion. As e-commerce continues to grow rapidly, brands are shifting budgets from traditional media towards Retail Media Networks (RMNs). The flourishing Retail Media industry across Europe underscores the importance of data-driven, high-impact advertising solutions that empower brands to capture consumer attention, increase engagement, and boost sales.

The GoWit and Heureka Retail Media partnership is set to bridge the Retail Media gap in Central and Eastern Europe, offering a transformative approach to digital advertising. With GoWit’s AI-driven targeting, real-time optimization, and omnichannel capabilities, brands on Heureka’s platforms can expect superior ad performance and return on investment.

Emrah Adsan, CEO of GoWit, added: “This partnership with Heureka Group marks a pivotal step in our mission to redefine Retail Media advertising in Central and Eastern Europe. As digital advertising continues to gain traction in the region, one of the most dynamic digital advertising markets in Europe, GoWit is committed to providing brands and retailers with a unified, high-performance advertising platform that seamlessly connects them with target shoppers and supports them with strong ad revenue.

Europe’s Retail Media market is projected to grow fivefold, from €6 billion in 2020 to over €30 billion by 2028. While most investment today focuses on onsite opportunities, there is significant room for expansion in off-site and in-store advertising. This collaboration ensures that Heureka’s merchants can maximize their digital ad investments through a diverse mix of product, brand, and video ads, driving higher engagement, visibility, and sales.”
