Snappy Shopper announces first national retail group partnership with One Stop

After a successful trial period across One Stop stores last year, the retail convenience giant has officially selected Snappy Shopper as one of their home delivery partners. With over 1,000 convenience stores nationwide, One Stop will initially introduce Snappy Shopper’s services to 250 of these stores starting from June this year. The collaboration aims to enhance customer experience and boost sales through innovative delivery solutions.

Seeing the potential for increased basket spend and shopper engagement, One Stop has chosen Snappy Shopper’s marketplace to drive incremental growth in both sales and customer base.

Snappy Shopper has seen remarkable momentum at the outset of this year, serving numerous stores and communities across the UK. The platform’s swift delivery service has empowered convenience stores to ramp up online orders, with initiatives like the popular 1p bundle offers. These initiatives enable shoppers to access essential items like cleaning products at significantly discounted rates, a particularly valuable service amidst the current cost-of-living challenges.

The UK’s Quick Commerce (Q-commerce) market presents a lucrative opportunity, with major delivery players reaching 69% of the UK population. This collaboration between One Stop and Snappy Shopper aims to leverage this market potential, especially within the convenience grocery retail sector, to drive mutual growth and expansion.

Mike Callachan, CEO of Snappy Shopper, commented: “Our partnership with One Stop, marks our first national retail rollout, and is a great milestone for us as a business. One Stop choosing us shows the recognition of Snappy Shopper both in the marketplace and for our white label business. We see One Stop as a retail partner that shares our values – its business model focuses on serving customers and their communities, providing convenience and accessibility.”

Tim Josephs, head of online at One Stop, said: “Providing an easy shopping experience for our customers is extremely important to us, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with Snappy Shopper. Customers will be able to have great quality products, at great prices on their doorstep within minutes. We look forward to offering the Snappy Shopper service to both our existing loyal customers and new customers across the country,”.
