Sofa ClubSt Ann’s Square in Manchester was the place to be at the end of last month [Thursday 29th May 2025] as Sofa Club joined forces with Red Bull to create a one-day-only pop-up living room, showcasing products, and giving away free food and prizes.

From live Red Bull DJ sets and free noodles from The Thai Food Van, to street interviews and giveaways (that’s right, free sofas were up for grabs), residents of Manchester flocked to enjoy the energy.

So, what went down?

From the moment the music started, the pop-up delivered moments worth remembering, including:

  • Live music from DJ Jamie Anne and Prido

  • Interior design tips and tricks from the pros

  • Free Red Bull, Thai Street Food, and locally-made cookies

  • 1,500 spins of the free prize wheel

  • 500 email sign ups to win a free sofa

  • Branded goodie bags with an assortment of freebies

Media and music personality, Tilly Tillz TV, led the charge on social media, hosting the event and bringing big statement energy to attendees and phones across the nation.

Iliana Olymbios, senior PR & contentexecutive at Sofa Club, comments: “Manchester is known for being a hub for brand activations and marketing activity but we didn’t just want to show up here, we wanted to create something that stood out. Collaborating with Red Bull and working with The Thai Food Van saw us bring the ultimate combination to St Anns Square: statement sofas, great energy, and comfort food.”
