Brits are being advised to use a little-known platform when shopping with Sports Direct this October, or risk missing out on potentially winning £2,000 in free funding.
From the 6th to 31st October, Sports Direct has teamed up with the UK’s leading fundraising cashback platform, easyfundraising, to offer four £500 funding pots to sports clubs across the UK. Meaning whether you’re a member of a crown green bowls club, local hockey club, Sunday league side or in fact any kind of grassroots sport – you’re all in with a chance to win.
How does it work? For anyone looking to score their sports clubs a free funding boost, all you have to do is sign up to easyfundraising and make your grassroots sports club your favourite cause on the platform. Or if you’re favourite club doesn’t already have a dedicated page, register them for free directly on easyfundraising’s website or app.
From there, just by shopping with Sports Direct via easyfundraising’s website or app by October 31st, the club will be entered into the fundraising draw. After that, for each supporter that signs up and follows in your footsteps, another entry will be added into the draw.
In short, the more shopping with Sports Direct, the greater chance your club has to win.
So, what is easyfundraising? As the UK’s leading fundraising cashback platform, easyfundraising allows shoppers to turn your online purchases into a way to generate free cashback donations for a chosen good cause at no extra cost. When you shop with one of over 8,000 online retailers, like Sports Direct, a small percentage, based on your spend, is donated by the retailer on your behalf– all because you visited easyfundraising first.
From now until January 4th, Sports Direct will make a cashback donation of 2% based on any online purchase to your favourite cause – at no extra cost.
With Sports Direct offering some incredible deals this autumn, you could score a deal and securing a free funding boost at the same time:
- Nike’s Air Max IVO Trainers are now up to 50% off for only £75.00
- Jack and Jones Sweat Zip Hood jackets are now up to 70% off for £12.00
- Nike’s Revolution 8 Road Running Shoes Mens are now only £45.00
So why not turn Sports Directs’ Autumn deals into a quick hack that not only saves money but generates free donations for a local sports club you care about too– all without spending an extra penny.
James Moir, CEO of easyfundraising, says: “We’re incredibly excited to be able to offer these four funding pots as we team up with Sports Direct this October. Grassroots sports clubs have felt the cost-of-living crisis more than most in recent years, and these boosts can go a long way to ensuring clubs can keep performing at the top of their form, or make sport more accessible for all this year and beyond.”
