The Cotswold Company announces plans to open in Redbrick following opening of first London showroom in Kingston

The Cotswold Company, the digitally-led premium handcrafted furniture and homeware brand, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest showroom in Kingston upon Thames alongside plans to open its 16th showroom at Redbrick, West Yorkshire, creating a combined 16 new jobs.

Founded in 1996 in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Cotswold Company sells thoughtfully designed, carefully crafted premium furniture and accessories through a digital-led omni-channel model. Working in tandem with specialist manufacturers and employing traditional woodworking techniques, all products are built to last.

The Kingston showroom, located at 27 Thames Street, represents the Company’s first showroom within London and its first opening of 2026, while the Redbrick showroom, located within one of the UK’s leading design-led retail destinations, marks the 16th store and the second planned opening of the Group’s new financial year.

In a highly prestigious retail location, the Redbrick showroom, which is approximately 5,000 sq. ft., is situated within a 140,000 sq. ft. destination for interiors and design, home to over 40 premium brands. The location provides access to a highly engaged, design-conscious audience and strengthens the Company’s presence in the North of England. The showroom will also showcase the brand’s bestselling products across each category, including the Chester, Chantilly, Berkely, Winchcombe and Camilleranges.

The openings build on a period of continued strategic progress for The Cotswold Company, including the recent launch of its Chichester showroom in December, which is trading ahead of expectations, as well as continued recognition for the strength of the brand, most recently being named Retail Week’s “Best Retailer Under £250m.”

Ralph Tucker, chief executive officer at the Cotswold Company, said: “The official opening of Kingston is a great milestone for the brand. London has always been an important market for us, and we’re pleased bring our offering to local customers that really resonate with the benefits of long lasting, timeless furniture. Redbrick similarly provides a fantastic platform in the North, and we’ve been deliberate in selecting a destination that has celebrated design and interiors for 25 years, making it a natural fit for our premium furniture.

“It’s this attention and strategic focus when it comes to our showroom pipeline that helps us scale sustainably, and with number 16 opening soon, we’re well on our way to become one of the most-loved furniture and homeware brands in the country.”
