The Cotswold Company, the digitally-led premium handcrafted furniture and homeware brand, is pleased to announce that its 11th UK store, located in Marlow, is now open.

Founded in 1996 in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Cotswold Company sells thoughtfully designed, carefully crafted premium furniture and accessories through a digital-led omni-channel model. Working in tandem with specialist manufacturers and employing traditional woodworking techniques, all products are built to last.

The new showroom is located on Marlow’s busy and highly popular high street and covers more than 3,500 square feet. It features a wide selection of the brand’s bestselling furniture collections, including its popular bedroom, living and dining ranges, designed to add charm and character to any home.

Reflecting growing demand for The Cotswold Company’s upholstery products, the Marlow showroom also features the brand’s Upholstery Hub. This space showcases a range of upholstery swatches, styles, and fabrics, with take-home samples to ensure customers can find the perfect match for their interiors.

The Marlow showroom comes on the back of positive Christmas trading, which saw The Cotswold Company outperform the sector. In nine weeks to 29th December, The Cotswold Company recorded a 22% increase in sales against the comparable prior year period, with e-commerce sales up 13% and showroom sales up 66%. In addition, it also announced it has secured B Corp status, reflecting the brand’s dedication to being a force for good and delivering furniture that aligns with its values of sustainability, craftmanship and positive impact.

Ralph Tucker, chief executive officer at the Cotswold Company, said: “We’re excited to bring The Cotswold Company to Buckinghamshire with our new store in Marlow. This will create fantastic opportunities to introduce local consumers to our high-quality, made-to-last products, and inspire more to look beyond throwaway furniture.

“The opening in Marlow kickstarts another really exciting year for The Cotswold Company. Building on the strategic progress delivered in 2024, which saw us open one new showroom and outperform the market, we’ve got bold ambitions to continue our exciting growth journey and firmly cement the Cotswold Company’s position as the UK’s leading premium furniture retailer.”
