The Gym KitchenHealthy high-protein meals challenger, The Gym Kitchen, is expanding its popular frozen offer, with NEW Chicken Korma and Chicken Carbonara dishes rolling out across Tesco stores this week.

Launching in the brand’s larger 550g format, NEW Chicken Korma boasts a whopping 44g protein per serving and two of your five-a-day. The new dish features chicken pieces in a mild tomato coconut curry sauce, served with cauliflower and basmati rice.

NEW frozen Chicken Carbonara is made with whole wheat linguine, cooked with tender chicken breast, in a bacon and cheddar cheese sauce, topped with broccoli.  Packing in 32g protein per 400g pack, this recipe has been developed following huge demand from loyal fans of The Gym Kitchen range.

Both new additions go large on flavour, as well as functional nutrition, to fuel busy, active lifestyles and they hit stores just weeks after The Gym Kitchen expanded its Food-To-Go range in Tesco and Asda.

Taking The Gym Kitchen’s protein-fuelled, wholesome, healthy meal solutions across multiple categories is a major part of the brand’s growth strategy, to reach a broader target of fit foodies. Over the past two years the brand has expanded rapidly beyond its core chilled meals offer into frozen meals, chilled yogurts and desserts, meat snacks and more recently sausages and hard-boiled eggs snacking launches, as part of its Food-To-Go range.

Founder, Segun Akinwoleola, said: “Our frozen meals range has been a phenomenal success across retail, and we’re delighted to expand our offer in Tesco with these crowd-pleasing dishes, following countless requests from our loyal consumers.

“Like the rest of our range, our NEW frozen Chicken Korma and Chicken Carbonara frozen meals have both been developed to keep you strong, satisfied and sustained, providing hassle-free, great-tasting, quality food solutions, that are easy to fit into your day.”

Available in Tesco

  • The Gym Kitchen NEW Frozen Chicken Korma – £ 3.25 for 550g
  • The Gym Kitchen NEW Frozen Chicken Carbonara – £2.50 for 400g
