The Gym Kitchen launches two new chilled meals in Tesco and Sainsbury’s and extends listings across supermarkets

The Gym KitchenHigh-protein meals challenger, The Gym Kitchen, is continuing its trail-blazing innovation drive, with 2 x NEW ‘bigger 500g pack – higher protein’ chilled ready meals and expansion of its existing chilled and frozen range across the major retailers this month.

The Gym Kitchen’s NEW chilled Chipotle Chicken and Chicken Shawarma are hitting Tesco and Sainsbury’s shelves, offering a generous 500g eat and even more protein than the brand’s 400g range. Chipotle Chicken packs in 59g protein, served up with long grain rice, black eye and red kidney beans and Chicken Shawarma, has 53g protein, with brown rice, chickpeas, blanched kale and spring greens.

The NPD launches coincide with new listings of the much-loved existing offers – The Gym Kitchen’s chilled Salt & Pepper meal is set to go live in Sainsbury’s, as well as Tesco – where it will be listed alongside the brand’s Chicken Carbonara dish. Meanwhile Chicken & Chorizo Paella and a Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese make their debut in Morrisons’ frozen aisle.

Since bursting on the grocery scene in 2020, The Gym Kitchen has gone from strength-to-strength, extending beyond its core chilled meals offer into multiple categories, including frozen meals, yogurts and desserts, sausages, ambient grain pouches and instant noodles, as well as meat snacks and food-to-go.

The Gym Kitchen Founder, Segun Akinwoleola, said: “We’re delighted to add two incredible new dishes to The Gym Kitchen chilled line-up, whilst continuing to expand distribution of our existing range across grocery retail.

“We’re a brand on a mission to lead the way in wholesome, flavour-led high protein meal solutions, that are hassle free and keep you sustained throughout your day.”
