Topshop and TopmanLast night, Topshop and Topman celebrated the launch of their in-store residency at Liberty, marking the brand’s return to physical retail.
Taking over Liberty’s iconic atrium and Level 2 shopping space, the residency brings a bold new energy to the historic department store. Paying homage to Topshop’s music-infused heritage, the space has been transformed with an industrial edge, featuring fly-postering installations and stacked speaker walls.
Guests were treated to an immersive fashion experience, against sounds by local London talent – KILIMANJARO – who recently walked the Runway in Trafalgar Square. Performing live at the event, he wore pieces from an upcoming Topman collection including a football-inspired polo top and tailored trousers.
Guests explored and shopped a curated edit of Topshop and Topman’s latest collection, which offers everything from bold tailoring to everyday essentials as well as the denim hub. Alongside cult favourites such as Jamie and Joni jeans, the hub introduces fresh silhouettes that generated excitement on the night. For women, this includes new skinny fit “Dree” and straight fit “Orson” and for men, the Barrel leg jean.
The partnership between Topshop, Topman and Liberty represents a powerful meeting of British fashion institutions. By bringing Topshop and Topman into Liberty’s historic retail space, the collaboration blends legacy and innovation, offering a fresh, elevated shopping experience for a new generation of style-conscious consumers.
Michelle Wilson, Managing Director of Topshop Topman, said: “We’re incredibly proud to see Topshop and Topman return to physical retail in such an iconic setting. Partnering with Liberty is a defining moment for us, marking our return to the forefront of British fashion, and creating the opportunity to reconnect with our customers in a truly inspiring space.”
With thanks to key partners who helped bring the full-sensory experience to life: Mirabeau Classic Provence Rosé; MOTH serving up their signature cocktails; and London Essence Co. providing premium tonics and mixers.
Topshop and Topman is now available to shop exclusively in-store at Liberty.
