Building “the UK’s everyday squeeze”
The capital will be used to fuel brand awareness, scale retail distribution, and expand product lines. solidifying TOSS’s transition from an occasional salad topping to an indispensable kitchen staple.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have brought together such an incredible group of investors to support TOSS,” said Grace Devlin, Co-Founder of TOSS. “From the very beginning, our priority wasn’t simply raising capital, it was finding partners who genuinely believe in our vision and who can add value as we scale the business. Every one of our investors brings a unique perspective, experience, and network, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the belief they’ve shown in us.
This investment will allow us to build TOSS into the UK’s everyday squeeze. We’re on a mission to change the way people think about salad dressings, taking them from something used occasionally to something that is reached for every single day. We’ll be investing heavily in building consumer awareness and driving trial, whilst continuing to grow our direct-to-consumer community alongside our retail footprint. We’ll also be launching new product formats that make it even easier for consumers to incorporate TOSS into everyday meals, whether that’s drizzling, dipping, marinating, glazing, or spreading.”
Backing from industry leaders
Investors across the venture and food space have highlighted TOSS’s clean-label ethos and modern approach to eating as key drivers behind their support:
“The dressing aisle has been dominated by artificial additives for over a decade, with little meaningful innovation in sight,” said Vincent Kuiper of GOTA. “TOSS changes that, bringing 100% natural ingredients, bold flavours, and a brand built for occasions well beyond the salad bowl. We are excited to partner with Sophie and Grace as they build the condiment brand a new generation of consumers is looking for.”
“TOSS is tapping into a real shift in how people want to eat, less waste, less faff, better ingredients,” added Emily Shaw, Co-Founder of TRIBE. “This raise puts them in a strong position to own that space, and we’re delighted to help them maximize the DTC opportunity. We’re thrilled to be working with TOSS. They have a rare clarity on who their customer is, and we’re excited to bring our DTC experience to help them build on that as they scale. We’re really proud to be part of the TOSS journey. Food and drink DTC is where we know how to add the most value, and we’re excited to bring that expertise to help them scale.”
“In a short period of time Sophie and Grace have built a distinctive brand with a clear point of view in a category that hasn’t had one for years. We are delighted to be part of the journey and look forward to tasting all of the dressings to come.” Tom Britton, Co-Founder, SyndicateRoom
