Global wine manufacturer, Vinarchy, is expanding its mini boxed wine portfolio, rolling out two new additions: Jam Shed Sauvignon Blanc and Echo Falls Summer Berries Fruit Fusion just in time for retailers to make the most of summer socialising occasions.
The move reflects Vinarchy’s continued focus on offering accessible, great-tasting wines in convenient, lower-waste formats that align with changing shopper needs. Echo Falls hits Tesco and Sainsbury’s in early August, while Jam Shed lands in over 370 Sainsbury’s stores from 3rd August.
Boxed wine sales in the UK are booming – currently up 35% year-on-year. Jam Shed leads the 1.5L segment, generating £8.5M in annual sales with 4.8% YOY growth, making it the UK’s third-largest boxed wine brand – proof that flavour-led, trusted wines in smart formats are resonating with today’s shoppers. Sauvignon Blanc as a varietal is up 46% in the 1.5L format, adding £1.8M in RSV[2], underlining the strength of both format and varietal.
The new Jam Shed Sauvignon Blanc offers vibrant, tropical aromatics of passionfruit, mango, and guava, with an equally intense palate of pineapple and lychee, which is balanced by bright acidity and a zesty, mouthwatering finish. Whilst Echo Falls Summer Berries Fruit Fusion delivers a bold and juicy profile of red berries, tailor-made for easy summer drinking.
Tom Smith, marketing director – Europe, Vinarchy, said: “With Summer in full swing, we’re excited to bring even more choice to shoppers who are looking for great-tasting, convenient or accessible wine. We know consumers love the fruit-forward flavour profiles of Jam Shed and Echo Falls, and now they can enjoy them in a format that’s all about ease and enjoyment – whether that be a picnic in the park or a weekend barbecue!”
