Heartsease FarmHeartsease Farm, the award-winning range of premium sparkling pressés made by soft drinks company Radnor Hills, has won two new industry awards.

Judges at this year’s Farm Shop & Deli Show Product Awards have declared two flavours in the brand’s range as Gold and Silver winners.

Heartsease Farm Apple & Rhubarb, one of the newest flavours in the Heartsease Farm range, and in a 330ml can, won a Gold Award. This pressé combines the fresh, sweet taste of handpicked British apples blended with a sharp twang of rhubarb and Radnorshire spring water.

Judges said they ‘loved everything about this product. Lovely sharp flavour from the rhubarb and is very refreshing’ and also that it was ‘absolutely brilliant’ with ‘clear branding, good sized cans and fantastic flavour profiles’, ‘perfect in a farm shop/deli environment’ with a ‘very premium feel’.

Heartsease Farm British Raspberry Lemonade, in a 750ml glass bottle, won a Silver Award. This pressé is made with a blend of hand-picked British raspberries, grown in the neighbouring counties to Heartsease Farm, and Radnorshire spring water for a twist on traditional lemonade.

Judges said it had a ‘good aroma and flavour’, ‘tastes very refreshing’ and has ‘lovely branding and a beautiful illustrated label’ with a ‘great nod to charity work’ and is a ‘great price’.

The product awards are selected by an esteemed panel of industry expert judges who rigorously evaluate hundreds of entries.

This year’s Farm Shop & Deli Show will take place at the NEC in Birmingham 7-9 April. Heartsease Farm will be sampling all six of its flavours on its Stand K221.

Heartsease Farm comes in a variety of sizes and formats including 330ml cans and glass bottles and 750ml glass bottles. It is available to farm shops and delis across the UK.

Each drink is crafted from a blend of pure Radnor Hills Welsh spring water, sourced from its own boreholes just minutes from the production line, and 100% natural ingredients, from zesty and zingy to fruity and floral.

They are delicious to drink on their own or can add a sparkle to a favourite cocktail by using as a mixer.

Radnor Hills is based in the heart of mid-Wales and has been making a range of still, sparkling and deliciously flavoured soft drinks for 35 years.

The company, which has its own solar farm to help power its factory, is committed to sustainability and all of its products are fully recyclable.

Chris Butler, Marketing Manager for Radnor Hills, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that two of our Heartsease Farm pressés have won Gold and Silver at this year’s show and in this our 35th anniversary year.

“Heartsease Farm reflects the heritage of our farm and our passion for great flavours. It’s lovely that our customers enjoy drinking them as much as we enjoy making them.”

Giorgio Rigali, head of communications, exhibitions at William Reed said: “The Farm Shop & Deli Product Awards provides a platform that offers manufacturers the opportunity to gain valuable feedback from retailers and wholesalers across the farm shop & deli market.

“The volume of awards given out by our judges this year highlights the volume of new products looking to grow within the sector, but also the high quality – many of which will be on display at the Farm Shop & Deli Show this April in Birmingham.”
