The UK’s leading manufacturer of beef, Warrendale Wagyu is excited to announce a series of wins at the prestigious Great Taste Awards. The company’s exceptional Wagyu Denver Steak has been honoured with two stars, while it’s Beef Bourguignon Dine In Meal and Warrendale fat washed WA-GYN each received one star.

The Great Taste Awards are recognised as a benchmark for fine food and drink. This flurry of wins underscores Warrendale Wagyu’s dedication to excellence, craftsmanship, and the superior quality of their products.

The star of the show, the Wagyu Denver Steak, impressed judges, as they stated it is ‘Bold, delicious and surprising for this cut of beef’. The Beef Bourguignon Dine In Meal also received glowing feedback from the judges, saying ‘The beef is tender, and falls apart in the mouth’.

Additionally, the UK’s first fat washed gin, WA-GYN, received one star, showcasing the company’s creativity and expertise in producing unique and exciting products. Having only launched this year, the gin has comforting umami aromas. The overriding taste is juniper, which is complimented by bright bursts of ruby grapefruit, lemon grass and warming pink peppercorn.

Tom Richardson, managing director at Warrendale Wagyu, expressed his excitement and gratitude: “We are absolutely delighted to receive these prestigious awards. Our team is passionate about producing the finest Wagyu beef, and these accolades are a testament to their hard work and dedication. The recognition from the Great Taste Awards reaffirms our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers.”

The company looks forward to building on this success and introducing more award-winning products in the future.
