Ocado Retail and Diddly Squat Farm have today announced an exclusive retail partnership to deliver a wide range of British farm shop produce for Ocado Retail customers, further expanding the choice on the Ocado.com ‘Best of British’ aisle.

Ocado.com will be the first major retailer with the Diddly Squat Farm range of products when it goes on sale later this week, with further products available when the range is expanded later in the year.

From 29th April, Ocado customers will be able to enjoy the farm shop experience as part of their weekly shop, with a wide selection of popular Diddly Squat Farm products available, including:

  • Real Ale Chutney
  • Blackberry Jam
  • Beer Mustard
  • Diddly Dunkers

Both Ocado and Diddly Squat are making a broader commitment in partnership together to co-fund outdoor learning and land-based skills via The Ernest Cook Trust. The funding will help provide outdoor education to children and young people across the UK.

Lucy Silver, Partnerships Lead at Ocado Retail commented: “Diddly Squat is an exciting brand to have on site and allows us to deliver a farm shop experience to our customers’ doors. We’re always looking for ways to support British products and expand the choice of local produce for our customers.

“The partnership also opens opportunities for young people to learn outdoors and grow land-based skills through our co-funded work with The Ernest Cook Trust. We’re proud to be playing a part in supporting the next generation of British farming and outdoor careers.”

Lisa Hogan, co-founder of Diddly Squat Farm, added: “Diddly Squat has always been about celebrating British farming in a hands-on, practical way, from what we grow to how we share it with people. This partnership with Ocado is a natural step in making our farm more accessible to customers across the country, while staying true to our roots. Supporting the wider farming community, particularly by helping more young people engage with agriculture and understand the value of British produce, is central to what we set out to do.”

The Diddly Squat Farm range is available from 29th April on Ocado.com: https://www.ocado.com/ and via Zoom by Ocado: https://zoom.ocado.com/
