Urban Eat. unveils limited edition Coronation range

Urban EatLeading UK sandwich brand, Urban Eat, has announced it will bestow the royal treatment upon Food-To-Go chillers up and down the country this spring by marking the crowning of King Charles III with a limited-edition range.

Loyal subjects of the UK will be offered two quintessentially British sandwiches; national treasure Smoked Ham and Egg, as well as the brand’s crowning glory: Coronation Chicken. Available from 17th April until 9th June the regal eats are set to be the perfect accompaniment to luncheons, afternoon teas and street parties up and down the land.

The sandwiches will also be draped in gloriously patriotic Union Jack packaging to ensure shoppers can easily spot the limited-edition treats amongst the crowd. Available throughout forecourts, convenience, education and contract catering retailers, the Coronation range will be supported by at-fixture POS, store posters and social media activity.

Abigail Nelson-Ehoff, brand manager, Urban Eat said: “With such a historic event just around the corner, it’s only appropriate that we help the UK celebrate with a special lunchtime treat.

“Not only that, the Food to Go category has gone from strength to strength in recent months and we expect this to increase further as the weather warms up and more people are out and about. We’d therefore encourage customers to see in a new era of history and make the most of increased footfall by stocking up – and enjoying majestic sales as a result!”
