Frida Redknapp launches Frood

Frida RedknappThe month marks the launch of Frood, a new food brand created by Swedish-born foodie and mother of five, Frida Redknapp. Designed to help people eat more real ingredients, conveniently, Frood is launching to market with a range of four whole-food and nourishing cooking blends; Swedish Meatballs, Bella Bolognese, Golden Curry and Mexi Fiesta.  On a mission to lead a new category and redefine convenience without compromise, the brand offers a modern solution for busy people wanting real food and nutrition.  Rolling out from 1st June, available in M&S Food Stores, on Ocado and Frood.com (RRP: £3 / 75g 4 servings).

Fibre rich and a natural source of protein, each Frood blend is UPF free, contains no added sugar, no flavourings or colours and is free from heat and oil.  Packed full of gently dried fruits and vegetables, each mix contains the raw veg equivalent of 560g per pack, plus, grains, seeds, plant proteins, and other wholesome ingredients.  Requiring zero prep, consumers can simply pick a protein and add the Frood mix to create a real, nourishing and nutritionally complete meal that serves 4, in just 20 minutes.

Positioned as ‘convenience without compromise’, each of the recipes behind Frood have been tried, tested, and loved in Frida’s home, which she shares with her husband Jamie Redknapp and her big blended family.

Frida Redknapp says: “Inspired by family favourites, I created Frood to make healthy home cooking simpler for everyone.   I came up with the idea when I realised that consumers were searching for something that quite simply didn’t exist.  In a space between packet mixes, meats and herbs – there were no healthy convenience options. As a working mum who prioritises the health of myself and my family, I really believe that convenience shouldn’t have to mean ultra processed, yet all too often this is the compromise people are having to make.  Seeking out a better solution, I have spent many months in my own kitchen perfecting the recipes and turning them into delicious whole-food blends. Frood is a brand designed for real life and  I’m super proud of what we’re building.  To have secured listings with M&S and Ocado at launch is incredible, and I am so grateful for their support”.

Alex Lo, buyer, cooking essentials at Ocado says:  “In a world where everyone is increasingly time-poor and health-conscious, Frood offers a fun and convenient way to assemble your favourite dishes — I am very excited about this!”

The full Frood range launches into M&S and Ocado from 1st June 2026.

£3, each pack serves four, 75g.
