Nutrition brand supports children’s growth with new Sugar Free Kids’ Multi Vitality gummies

Sugar Free Kids' Multi Vitality gummiesVegan health and wellbeing brand, Nutrigums has released its new Sugar-Free Kids Multi Vitality, as part of its extensive line of essential gummy vitamins to ensure children get the vitamins they need to boost early development and immunity.

Bringing all-round health and wellness, the company has created Nutrigums® Kids Multi Vitality vitamins, to meet the needs of parents’ when it comes to supporting children’s health. Suitable for both vegans and vegetarians and deriving from fruit-based pectin, the naturally flavoured raspberry gummies are rich in eight carefully researched nutrients from vitamins A, C, D and E, as well as B vitamin, biotin and contain no added sugar.

Husband and wife duo Louise and Fabian Whittingham cofounded Nutrigums in 2020 after seeing their son Jack, who is diagnosed with autism, struggle with his health during adolescence which became the driving force to launch their vitamin range.

Fabian said: “Although a lot of our gummies are suitable for children to take, it was important for us to launch a vitamin that was solely targeted to children. Our son Jack, now 21-years-old, was born with complex needs, which led our family to monitor his food and drink intakes to ensure he had the right vitamins.

“It’s so important for us, not only as a business, but as a family, to provide a quick, convenient and delicious gummy that children will enjoy taking, while also ensuring parents feel trusted in a brand that contains vitamins that are European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) approved.

“As a parent we all know how hard it can be to get kids to eat the right foods. I believe children don’t get as many fruits and vegetable as they used to, even as recent HSA legislation and school boards are trying to tackle healthier eating. With the cost-of-living also rising, unhealthier meal options seem to become the cheapest options and are even more accessible on supermarket shelves. Although this is slowly changing with new regulations, there’s still a need for children to get the correct nutrients that their growing bodies need.”

Compromised of vitamins A, C, D, and E, the Kids Multi Vitality vitamin, supports children’s vision and immunity, while aiding strong teeth and healthy bones. Not only supporting the body, but the nutrients also help to support normal psychological function and protects the nervous system.

Shona Wilkinson, consultant nutritionist for Nutrigums, said: “Childrens health is so important as their bodies are constantly growing. We want children to find nutrition fun and our supplements offer consumers a quick and convenient way to improve their health from the outside-in.”

With vitamins sales increasing by 137.1 million pounds in the past thirteen years, and one of Google’s breakout terms – kids multivitamins gummies – up by 5000% this month, the need for a children friendly vitamin range is essential as more parents search to boost nutritional intake in other ways aside from just diet.

Shona continued: “Not only do the vitamins support growth, but B vitamin, biotin is great for kids macronutrient metabolism which is important in providing the body with energy, as well as maintaining health hair, skin and nails.”

Nutrigums products are deliciously designed gummy vitamins, which act as a palatable alternative to taking chunky tablet-form vitamins that are hard to swallow, challenging the notion that vitamins are a ‘chore’ to take.

The Kids Multi Vitality vitamin gummies will be available across Amazon and selected stores across the UK with an RRP of £9.99 for a 60-day pack.
