Zara McDermott launches clothing brand RISE in partnership with Luminoso Brands at Poeticgem Group

Television broadcaster and content creator Zara McDermott proudly announces the launch of RISE, her new ready-to-wear brand, that seamlessly blends comfort, inclusivity, and style. Developed in collaboration with Luminoso Brands, the cutting-edge brand licensing and marketing division of Poeticgem group, RISE represents a harmonious fusion of fashion essentials and everyday ease.

At the core of the RISE ethos lies a passion for comfort, soft fabrics, and the belief that fashion should be accessible to all shapes and ages. Rise is the brainchild of Zara who has been working on the brand from day one and throughout its conceptual journey.  She has curated a collection that reflects her vision of versatile, easy-wear pieces that cater to the diverse needs of today’s fashion loving individuals.

The design journey

Zara collaborated with a talented team of Poeticgem designers and together they have created signature pieces that embody easy-to-wear shapes, providing a foundation for effortless mixing and matching—a true testament to an essential everyday wardrobe.

Key pieces include a soft linen short set which can be styled from day into night, a super soft modal rib trouser set which works effortlessly for every occasion, second skin ath-leisure crops and legging sets and a must have square neck unitard.

Fabrics & palettes

RISE boasts super-soft fabrics, including modal mixes and butter-soft Spandex that feels like a second skin. The easy-to-match neutral colour palette, ranging from deep blacks to soft neutrals, allows for seamless integration across the collection. The brand’s DNA revolves around comfort, featuring silhouettes designed for easy outfit building, layering, and an overall sense of ease.

Recognizing the diversity in body shapes, RISE is available in sizes ranging from 6 to 22.  The first collection of RISE focuses on creating a harmonious balance between daywear, nightwear, and loungewear, reflecting the modern trend of seeking comfort without sacrificing style. Whether you’re stepping out for errands or settling in for a cosy evening at home, RISE offers pieces that make you feel effortlessly chic and supremely comfortable.

Zara McDermott on RISE: “I am beyond excited to be launching RISE. This is something I’ve envisioned for a long time, and I have been working on this for the past few years. I knew this had to be perfect, and it had to speak to all women. It had to be accessible and inclusive, as well as comfortable and wearable. I wanted each piece to speak for itself; and I worked on each design to ensure that it had that “reach for” factor… i.e. those staples in your wardrobe that you just reach for all the time because they are so versatile. Fabrics have been key for me throughout this process, I wanted the fabrics to be so soft to touch and delicate on the body. I think we have achieved something beautiful, and I am excited for this first drop of RISE, and for the brand to evolve as it grows. I am also incredibly happy that we have partnered with F&F; a destination that me, my mum and my Nanna have always shopped at for our clothes. I still cannot quite believe that RISE is going to sit in stores that I grew up shopping in; it’s a real pinch me moment.”
