I feel profoundly honoured and humbled to have been recognised in this way and my thanks go to everyone who has not only worked with me in whatever capacity over the years but also to those who have supported, encouraged and inspired me particularly my family. I couldn’t have achieved what I have without the support from them, and it was wonderful to share today with my wife and daughters. The retail industry in the UK employs over 3m people and it is a wonderful community of incredibly passionate, dedicated creative hard working people and I feel blessed to be part of that community, and I would like to express my gratitude to those who nominated me.”
