Prep’d Protein, high protein, low fuss ready meal brand, launches in UK

PREP’D PROTEIN is the exciting new brand to hit the supermarket shelves that offers the perfect solution to reaching protein goals, and staying fuelled throughout the day.

Life moves fast, and with fitness trends like HYROX fuelling a nationwide focus on protein-packed diets, this affordable and delicious range of chilled ready meals from Kirsty’s, the number one selling free-from ready meal brand in the UK, is delivering convenience and nutrition, and supporting a younger demographic of customers to hit their daily macros.

Until now, there have been very limited supermarket options for consumers seeking high-protein, macro-tracked meals that are not only nutritious but also full of flavour. Aimed at health conscious 18 – 44 year olds looking to hit their protein goals or simply looking to improve their diet, PREP’D has created products that lead the way when it comes to supporting those living a protein-focused lifestyle with innovative, tasty options.

Nutritious doesn’t mean boring though. PREP’D has been inspired by bold, global flavours to create its launch SKUs, which are made with British chicken and beef too:

  • Firecracker Chicken: get fiery and ignite your tastebuds! Packed with high-quality protein, and zesty flavours, this meal is both low in fat and calories (under 500). Perfect after a gym session, or to fuel a busy day. Each meal (430g) contains 36 grams of protein
  • Chipotle Beef Chilli: smoky, spicy flavours and a satisfying heat makes this chilli a bold choice for a filling, flavour-packed meal, with the right amount of protein to help you feel great all day. Each meal (430g) contains 33 grams of protein
  • COMING SOON: four new recipe SKUs

To further help consumers from gym goers to busy professionals reach their goals, in addition to on pack protein, ingredient and calorie information, each pack comes with a handy barcode that allows for instant macro tracking with a quick scan.

The range of PREP’D PROTEIN ready meals is available in Asda stores from 23rd October. RRP £4.50 for each 430g meal.
