YEEP!, the parcel locker network known for placing convenience at the heart of communities, has announced its 1,000th live location with a new installation at a Motor Fuel Group (MFG) forecourt in Haverhill, a move that signals the growing role of parcel lockers in the daily routines of people across the UK.
The milestone locker went live at the end of May at one of MFGâs high-footfall sites, highlighting a partnership that plays to the strengths of both organisations: MFG brings easily accessible, strategically located forecourts with c-stores, that are open 24/7, secure and lit at night; YEEP! brings fast, flexible access to battery-operated, plug-free parcel lockers.
âCrossing the 1,000-locker mark is a big moment for YEEP!,  but what matters most is where weâre placing them,â said NoĂŤl Shapton, CEO of YEEP!. âThis locker isnât just a number. Itâs another step toward making delivery and returns genuinely easy for people, right where they already are – in this case, fuelling up, grabbing a coffee, or on their daily commute.â
For MFG, the UKâs largest independent forecourt operator, adding parcel lockers makes practical and commercial sense, as the company continues to invest at pace in its 1,200 service areas , offering fuels of the future â MFG is the largest open ultra-rapid EV charging network in the UK, is also the UKâs largest  car valeting operator in the UK with 900+ sites, as well as being a major food-to-go retailer with brands including Greggs, Pret and Burger King. MFG has pledged to spend ÂŁ170 million in 2025 to continue its development programme, evolving sites to âtravel retail destinationsâ, offering essential services for every customer, including Parcel Locker Hubs .  With over 100 YEEP! lockers now installed across its estate, and hundreds more planned in the months ahead, MFG is steadily expanding access to 24/7 parcel services across its national network. With no need for power or groundwork, YEEP! lockers are easy to install.
âOur sites are evolving, with ultra rapid EV charging, vehicle valeting, food-to-go and c-stores – theyâre no longer just about fuel,â said Adam Wadlow, chief investment officer at Motor Fuel Group. âCustomers expect more from their local forecourt, it needs to deliver maximum convenience and a secure, 24/7 parcel locker fits naturally within our retail eco system, adding huge value to our offering without adding complexity. We are delighted to be growing YEEP!âs network, Â providing our customers with a safe, highly accessible parcel locker facility..â
The Haverhill site, now part of YEEP!âs growing network, reflects a shift in consumer habits. As home deliveries become harder to manage in busy households and missed parcels remain a pain point, out-of-home collection points like lockers offer a highly reliable and attractive alternative. They also cut the carbon footprint of delivery, consolidating multiple drop-offs into one central location. As part of a major partnership with DPD, which will see 8,000 new lockers added over five years, YEEP! is scaling this convenience across the UK at pace.
YEEP! has built its network with an emphasis on simplicity and convenience for both hosts and users. The lockers, supplied by kernTerminal, are battery-operated, stand-alone units requiring only a firm, level surface, no power, no groundworks, no disruption. Hosts, in turn, receive guaranteed annual income and increased footfall, all with zero costs.
âWeâre seeing interest from every corner of the UK, from forecourts to corner shops, gyms to train stations,â Shapton added. âThe demand is clear: people want delivery options that respect their time. And businesses want smarter ways to use their space. This 1,000th locker is a milestone, yes, but weâre just getting started.â
