Golden Acre FoodsB-Corp world foods and category expert Golden Acre Foods has appointed Andy Ditton as its new Finance Director. Ditton joins the business at a pivotal moment, as Golden Acre continues to scale its operations and expand its leadership in the world food category.

With a career spanning both practice and industry, Ditton brings a rare blend of technical depth and commercial agility.  He began his finance journey in a small practice before honing his expertise at Grant Thornton. He later transitioned into industry with AkzoNobel, being the finance lead for pan European tenders, standardising pricing and promotional processes, the insights from which are already proving valuable in his new role. Most recently, Andy served as Commercial Finance Lead at Acosta Europe, where he led transformational change across internal financial systems to better support its commercial teams.

Golden Acre Foods has experienced substantial growth over the past five years, with turnover reaching £130 million in 2024 and tracking significantly ahead in 2025. As Finance Director, Andy Ditton will play a strategic role in streamlining processes and challenging legacy systems to support the increased complexity that comes with scale. His background in continuous improvement and his commercial lens will be instrumental as the business builds on its success for the future.

Commenting on his appointment, Andy Ditton said:  “I’m extremely excited to join such a talented team as we embark on a period of change to get our systems ready for the next chapter of our growth journey. The company deeply cares about its people, its products and its environmental impact and with such strong values, I’m confident we’ll continue to grow the world food category for both us and our customers.”

CEO of Golden Acre Foods, Neale Powell-Cook, added:  “Andy brings a sharp strategic mind and a hands on approach to finance transformation. His experience across both technical and commercial functions makes him ideally placed to help us future proof our systems and support our continued growth.  We’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
