Touchwood, the West Midlands’ leading retail and leisure destination, has strengthened its fashion offer with the arrival of Moss.
The menswear specialist, known for its formalwear hire, has taken unit 30 at the scheme, totalling 3,171 sq ft, on a new 15-year lease. Moss has relocated from an existing store in the town to open at Touchwood, with the new outlet fronting onto Solihull High Street.
The new arrival represents a further boost to what is already the region’s foremost line-up. They join major brands such as Apple – which tripled its presence at the scheme last year – John Lewis, Zara, Mango, Rituals, Miele, Oliver Bonas, Space NK and a recently-opened Sweat Betty store.
Following its acquisition of Touchwood in 2021, owner The Ardent Companies (Ardent) and asset manager Sovereign Centros from CBRE have implemented a strategy focused on diversifying and expanding the destination’s tenant mix and offer, bringing in new retail brands dining options and leisure operators to grow the scheme’s visitor base.
Joe Swindells, asset management & development director for Ardent, said: “Moss’ decision to relocate to the scheme from its existing Solihull store underlines the strength of trading at the destination. This new opening will give visitors to Touchwood even greater choice, and we look forward to more arrivals in the near future.”
Sovereign Centros from CBRE is the asset manager of Touchwood, with Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank the retained leasing agents.
