New Bed Head dry heat defence range includes the brand’s first-ever oil formula Click to teach Gmail that this conversation is important

Hair care disrupters Bed Head are turning up the heat on protection with the launch of two all-new category-innovating formulas, specifically designed to deliver heat defence for day-to-day styling on DRY hair: No Fry Zone, Heat Protector Mist and A Glass Act, Shine Heat Protection Oil.

Let’s be real for a second  – how many times have you reached for the straighteners for a quick refresh after a gym class? Grabbed the curling wand for day two re-styling, relying on those hotter-than-hot temperatures to shift your vibe and take you from day to night? And in all honesty, how many times have you done so without considering the impact that heat might be having on your hair…

As more and more of us try to find ways to make hair last longer in-between washes to save time and effort, it’s heat styling from dry hair that has claimed the permanent spot in day-to-day routines. Research from Kantar reveals 40% of us reach for straighteners or curlers at least once a week – yet 97% don’t use a heat protectant – proving just how essential multi-benefit heat protection is, especially formulas that work on dry hair, not just wet.

Designed to protect hair up to 230°C, Bed Head’s new heat heroes don’t just defend against heat, but frizz, sun, and UV damage too, helping maintain colour vibrancy – all the while avoiding compromising on shine, smoothness, or texture. No Fry Zone Dry Heat Protector Mist removes the ‘sizzle’ of traditional sprays for instant, weightless dry styling, while A Glass Act Shine Heat Protection Oil delivers high-level heat defence with a glass-like finish.

Bed Head creative director, Philip Downing, notes: “We’ve been quietly perfecting these for years – listening to our trend-setting, self-expressive community and testing alongside stylists. One thing kept coming up: heat is part of the daily routine. Fringe touch-ups, quick smooth-downs, that glossy finish you can’t quit. So we created A Glass Act and No Fry Zone – lightweight, protective heat protection essentials designed for real routines, real heat tools, and real life. Think of them as daily insurance for your hair.”

Available in retailers from today, the new products form the latest addition to Bed Head’s existing repair and protection line-up, delivering unparalleled quality at affordable price points:

  • Some Like it Hot Heat Protection Spray
  • Resurrection Repair Shampoo
  • Resurrection Repair Conditioner
  • Recovery Repair Shampoo
  • Recovery Repair Conditioner
