Tom Parker Creamery has announced a new partnership with First Milk, the B Corp certified, British farmer-owned co-operative, strengthening its commitment to regenerative dairy and long-term supply chain sustainability.
The partnership unites two businesses with shared goals: advancing regenerative farming, strengthening rural communities, and reducing the environmental footprint of their operations.
First Milk’s regenerative approach aim is to encourage farming with nature, nurturing healthy soils, reducing and locking away carbon, protecting rivers and streams and strengthening the communities at the heart of the co-operative.
First Milk farmers supplying Tom Parker are committed to grazing‑based dairy production, ensuring their cows have regular access to pasture for as much of the year as the weather allows, they are also capturing structured grazing data from across their land. This sits alongside a broader commitment to welfare and responsible environmental stewardship.
Rob Yates, CEO of Tom Parker Creamery, comments: “The new partnership with First Milk allows us to support local British farms within a 90-mile radius of the creamery with a regeneratively farmed milk pool for the Tom Parker Creamery business. Our ethos has always been about producing the highest quality dairy products that are close to nature and sustains both people and planet. From the soil the grass grows in, to the welfare of the free-range1 cows, right through to the first sip from the glass bottle, our ambition is to minimise impact at every stage.
“First Milk shares that vision. Their regenerative approach supports a fully traceable supply chain, underpinned by detailed field‑level understanding of environmental impact and the adoption of nature‑positive farming practices such as caring for hedgerows, rotational grazing, improving soil health and increasing plant diversity.
“Our partnership will allow us to scale sustainably, while continuing to balance profit with purpose.”
Fraser Brown, commercial director – Milk & Ingredients, comments: “We’re delighted to begin this partnership with Tom Parker Creamery, built on our shared commitment to responsible dairy. Everything we do starts with our farmer members, whose regenerative approach and dedication to farming with care make relationships like this possible and underpin long‑term collaboration and commercial stability across the supply chain. Partnering with values‑led brands like Tom Parker Creamery helps us showcase our members’ work and build wider understanding and engagement in regenerative dairy.”
Regeneration from field to fridge
At Tom Parker Creamery, sustainability begins on the farm and runs through the entire supply chain. Milk is minimally processed on site, pasteurised – as a legal requirement – but never standardised, meaning nothing is skimmed off. The result is whole, nutrient-rich milk with natural integrity intact.
Across its range of flavoured, added value milk drinks and creams, only natural ingredients are used, including fruit purées, cacao and coffee. This clean label philosophy reflects growing consumer demand for minimally processed alternatives to ultra-processed food and drink.
Finished products are packaged in fully recyclable, resealable glass bottles with paper labels, ensuring the core range remains plastic-free and reinforces the brand’s heritage, echoing founder Tom Parker’s original milk deliveries by horse and cart in the 1920s.
This blend of tradition and progressive regenerative thinking positions Tom Parker Creamery firmly in line with modern consumer expectations, delivering nutritious, clean label dairy with a lighter environmental footprint.
